So this little ditty is about a group of unexpected and amazingly spectacular lady bosses from whom I've drawn inspiration, advice, kindness and fortitude over the past year in this journey.
Let's talk about the Collaborators first, because all of the lovely lady bosses featured in this post belong to this particular group. Collaborators seek to build-up and support others, even those whose business is similar to their own. They're down-to-earth and quick to make friends (and, I'm talking genuine friends, not those fake, shallow, talk-snarky-behind-your-back "friends"). They're fun, and they have a good sense of humor.
Creepers, on the contrary, look to mimic others in their field, rather than differentiate. While it's true, imitation is the highest form of flattery, it doesn't exactly apply in these circumstances. Creepers tend toward shallow interactions with their customer base and in business dealings. They don't have meaningful stories to tell about their products, because there isn't a story (or if there IS a story, they don't know it well enough to tell it). But, enough about them. Creepers are a drag.
I am so blessed and grateful to have developed friendships and working relationships with these exceptional women. They have made our first year in business a wonderfully positive experience, and they've set an example for the best lens through which to view the world.
