Actually, I couldn't help but think of my childhood bathroom. Pink toilet. Pink sink. Pink tub. Pink tiles. I grew up in a mid century ranch built by my grandfather and his brother (my parents purchased the house from my grandmother), and it's original state of decor was quintessential mid mod... as was my grandmother's personal fashion sense.
So, Rose Quartz and Serenity have given me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside that I just had to embrace.
Both of my grandmothers always embraced the notion of looking smart and classy at all times, but my late grandma, Bess, took to to a whole different level. When I reflect on my own primping and personal fashions on any given day, I feel as though I probably look like a total slob compared to the way Bess dressed on a regular basis. She was always put together.
Here are some modern ways to show off your Rose Quartz and Serenity from a couple of local shops!
There are times when I wish I was the kind of gal who had one style and owned it. But, in the end, that's just not me. I need variety, and I love too many different fashion styles to choose one all of the time. Preppy, sporty, boho, artsy, classic, retro... I like it all.
